Installation of Jaw Crusher

Before Installed

• The Jaw Crusher machine should be installed in the place avoiding rain and sunlight.
• The motor should be installed behind the crusher; the direction of rotation should follow the requirement, cannot be changed.
• The Jaw Crusher should be installed on the concrete base, there should be a discharge chute in the concrete base, and the angle should exceed 50 º. The base condition can be decided according to the materials and transporting equipment.
• Loosen the spring before adjust the discharge outlet. After adjusting well, fasten the spring till the working noise of toggle plate and toggle plate seat is at minimum, and the toggle plate doesn’t fall down.

Trial Run of Jaw Crusher

• Check all the bolts are fastened before trial run.
• Check the lubrication before trial run.
• Turn the flywheel by hand first, trial-run can only carried out after confirmation that there is no block. There should be no impact, oil leak, shake of flywheel, and looseness of shaft within two hours.
• Trial run with loading for ten hours, if the stuff is hard, no above problems and the temperature of bearing doesn’t exceed 70℃, the machine can be put into operation.

Preparation before Start-up

1）Check the lubrication. (the manufacturer just oil the machine for trial run.
2）Check whehter all the parts are fastened.
3）Check the belts, if the belts or flywheel has been dirtied by oil, clean it immediately.
4）The Jaw Crusher should be started up without loading, make sure that there is no stuff between mobile jaw plate and stationary jaw plate.
5）When the stuff is very hard, the max feed size should less than 2/3 of the opening width.

Start-up of Jaw Crusher

1）Start up when the Jaw Crusher machine and transmission part is normal.
2）The Jaw Crusher machine should be started up without loading.
3）After start-up, if anything abnormal, stop the Jaw Crusher and get rid of the problem.
